The
American Family Foundation was established in March, 1994 as a nonprofit
organization, exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and
literary purposes, including make of distributions to organizations that
qualify as exempt within the meaning of Section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal
Revenue Code.
The
American Family Foundation accepts donations from the public in the form
of both cash and merchandise. The majority of donations is merchandise.
The Foundation sells the merchandise at wholesale to thrift store operations.
All
American Family Foundation workers are unpaid volunteers, the office space
is provided at no cost, and the only expenses incurred are licenses, printing,
and legal fees.

Of
the receipts, both cash donations and proceeds from sales of donated merchandise
to thrift stores, are donated to family-oriented ministries.
"It
is wonderful to partner with a company whose focus is giving back to those
in our community who need assistance so much!"
